    The Committee on Pensions moved to amend the bill on page two, section one, line five, after the word “authorized” by striking out the period and adding the following: with the following amendment:

    On page three, subsection 8.1., at the end of the paragraph after the word “System.”, by changing the period to a colon and inserting the following proviso: And provided further, That beginning July 1, 2013, each participating public employer shall contribute fourteen and five-tenths percent (14.5%) of each compensation payment of all its employees who are members of the Public Employees Retirement System.
